tl;dr Fantastic rhythm game with a heavy focus on its story with some puzzle elements (that apparently can be skipped if that's not your thing).
Feeling like you outsmarted the limits in the crafting to get a busted card that carries you for five or six encounters, outsmarting decks with unique lineups, not always stacking high stats but sometimes trading stats for abilities and such, I genuinely found it very fun.
Character interactions and voice acting were all spot on for me, and I was very willing to forgive the prose quirks because of it.
Everything about the visuals is stellar and I have zero criticisms there.
