The soundtrack is super epic when in combat and gets you so immersed, and the core gameplay combat loop is just so incredibly fun, chaotic, and intense.
Helldivers holds a very special place in my heart from the day I started playing it and I personally think it's one of the greatest and most underrated true co-op experiences of all time, Helldivers 2 doesn't even come close to this for me, which might be a hot take but I'm willing to stand on this hill.
it has lots of weapon to upgrade, and has lots of maps and you can join multiplayer mode anytime, it won't be that boring on the road to upgrading, even you already beat all kind of final boss.
Even though I don't like never ending repeating missions in games like this, still gameplay flows very well and you really get the sense of progression and challenge.
The overall top down angle, the art style and the UI give me happy vibes to the good ol' days of Alien Swarm, just obviously on a much grander and not bug exclusive scale.
