Story and characters
Players who bring up Story and characters mostly praise it.
Essentially, you choose one of several scenarios and choose one of hundreds of different playable characters (not counting the ones you can create yourself) and attempt to unite Japan during the Sengoku Jidai period.

Gameplay
Players who bring up Gameplay mostly praise it.
Spheres of Influence add a sense of fuedalism, speeds up gameplay, and are a satisfying display of power (Spheres of Influence can be set to unlimited for those who want full control of every aspect of their realm)

Graphics
Players who bring up Graphics mostly praise it.
Difficulty settings can be tweaked, Japanese voices are available (and recommended) The graphics, while not ultra-realistic or amazing in today's standards, are beautiful to behold and I found myself looking at the map and taking it all in, the officer portraits are also well done and it is easy to recognize someone from their portrait.

Audio
Players who bring up Audio mostly praise it.
No mp3s for the amazing soundtrack, not even as dlc

Multiplayer
Players who bring up Multiplayer mostly praise it.
It has more of a casual board game feel to it if that makes sense and the AI is good enough that they almost can feel like friends playing online.
