Acceleration of SUGURI 2

As an arcade fighting game with bullet hell mechanics, this game manages to strike a good balance between being forgiving for players who are new to this style of arcade gameplay and also providing a good challenge from the CPU.

It gets even better thanks to the inclusion of online multiplayer through Steamworks, spectators, and lobbies à la 100% Orange Juice, plus adding a viewable movelist for each character on the pause menu and a detailed how-to-play section to teach players the ropes of the game, much like the Tutorial Stage seen in sora.

I love how the game encourages and even rewards you for trying out the entire roster and has some cool unlockable characters too.

Some are good at keeping distance from the opponent such as shooting at a distance, using weapons that track and follow the target, setting traps as stationary mines or slow moving projectiles that stay in the area for a long period of time before disappearing on its own.

Visually-speaking, acceleration of SUGURI 2 has made great strides from its predecessor like sora has to SUGURI, and it has only gotten better thanks to this overseas re-release's support for HD resolutions and higher resolution graphics.

If you have a hard time finding friends to play this game with, there's always the single-player Arcade and Story Modes to enjoy, as well as the simple Versus mode with the CPU.
