What players think
The recurring themes across 117 analysed reviews: what players praise, what divides them, and what to know.
Due to the setting and style of writing, this game is definitely meant for existing fans of 40k- be it just the game itself, or the lore as well.
At first, I was enamored by its rich 40K content and its ability to expound upon said content due to being text instead of costly graphics, voice acting, etc., that would have otherwise likely cut down on the number of xenos races, and the "intimacy" of the level of detail and grim beauty in the twisted setting of 40K.
The interface is clean and easy to navigate, allowing players to focus on the narrative without unnecessary distractions.
Theme by theme
Every theme is scored by what reviewers actually said about it, not just whether they recommended the game.
Ranked by how many sampled reviews mention each topic. A topic sits in a column by what reviewers said about that topic; the percentage beside it is how many of them recommended the game anyway.
