This game is the reason I got back into Tekken after so many years, and in terms of gameplay, it’s easily the best entry in the series.
There's an upgrade in mere horsepower going from Tag 2 to 7 that is on par for the course when a game jumps generations, with better particle effects and a higher resolution on the textures, but that's where it ends.
The combat feels smooth, responsive, and endlessly satisfying thanks to the sheer variety of combos you can pull off.
Whether you're playing offline with friends or competing online, the gameplay remains fun and highly addictive.
All that aside the netcode is very stable.
