What players think
The recurring themes across 173 analysed reviews: what players praise, what divides them, and what to know.
Keeping this in mind, I have picked up pocket rumble pretty well, (1270~ points at the time of writing, rank 48~)
Online play is VERY smooth, using GGPO delay where gameplay up to 150 ping is still playable (though not as great as 60 and lower)
-(from what I have heard and seen) netcode is pretty good*
Also the netcode is really good making it good to play online with friends.
I'm not a heavy traditional fighting game player, but I have played Skullgirls casually and played Melee, PM, and Sm4sh competitively at my local scene.
Theme by theme
Every theme is scored by what reviewers actually said about it, not just whether they recommended the game.
No recurring complaints surfaced in this sample.
Ranked by how many sampled reviews mention each topic. A topic sits in a column by what reviewers said about that topic; the percentage beside it is how many of them recommended the game anyway. One more theme was raised by fewer than 4 sampled reviews and is not shown.
