What players think
The recurring themes across 300 analysed reviews: what players praise, what divides them, and what to know.
The writing here is a lot stronger and less disjointed and due to the very strong ties to the first game and protagonist it somewhat makes up for that game's deficiencies on this front.
The gameplay is awesome too, having RPG elements.
Play the Switch version if you want portability and hope that a Switch 2 version happens that gives it 60FPS support on top of the better lighting, resolution, etc., or play the PS5/Series XS version if you want all the bells and whistles, both at the cost of having to play a console game for once in your life.
The environments are gorgeous, the character designs are memorable, and the voice acting is excellent throughout.
Theme by theme
Every theme is scored by what reviewers actually said about it, not just whether they recommended the game.
Ranked by how many sampled reviews mention each topic. A topic sits in a column by what reviewers said about that topic; the percentage beside it is how many of them recommended the game anyway.
