While it has a few fun twists on common rogue-like deckbuilder mechanics and a solid theme, I suspect it grabbed me because of how powerful the characters feel when they revisit old locations or find the right synergies.
Meta progression feels pretty good like it makes a massive difference in your power, but there are draw backs to that heavy power from progressing.
Overall the artstyle is nice and the sound track isn't bad either.
Shame cause the visuals/setting seems pretty cool.
