So far, '26's model requires more control of the throttle (which at least on my PS5 controller is aided by the haptics, in a nice subtle way).. meanwhile the brakes seem to only let you feel haptics on the braking side trigger.. which is part of what makes it easier to lose the front this year as well.. the brakes also seem to be an instant-crash if you're applying more than the smallest amount or rear-only while fully leaned for your corner exit. in other words; proper trail braking is essential.
(for reference, im an experienced player and have been playing the motogp saga since 2019 on Steam every year, and i play around 50-60h through the year until i stop, i play with no assists and usually in the range of 100-120 difficulty, and I needed like 8h aprox. of playtime in this game to get the physics right, now that i played more hours, i have almost 30h, i am probably in my best shape of all motogp games controlling the bike, braking, etc., so give it time, its worth it)
Outside of the racing, the audio is truly excellent, the bikes sound incredible, and the visuals are perfectly "good-enough" for a game in 2026.
