overall I'd say the game is solid. its not the next NR2003 or Iracing and lacks some key components to be Regarded as one of the best nascar games of all time, but it is fun to play. i bought the base version and enjoyed it enough to buy the season pass. if you want an enjoyable controller friendly nascar game. this is the game.
Just because you put a ton of pretty shaders on the visuals doesn't make it a good game.
Credit where credit is due, though, NASCAR 25 lays a very nice foundation for the future, with very good gameplay (be it on controller or a wheel, if you are lucky enough to get yours working properly), a very in-depth roster with all the four main series, astonishingly well recreated tracks, making for what is definitely the most solid Nascar game in years, even if it does not amount to much like I mentioned before.
I'd also like a wider soundtrack, it looks long at first but it gets old with so many weak songs real quick.
The absence of mouse support in a PC title is another point of note; however, the game is primarily optimized for controllers and steering wheels, with straightforward key bindings limited to arrow keys, Enter, Backspace, Y, and X.
Theme by theme
Every theme is scored by what reviewers actually said about it, not just whether they recommended the game.
Ranked by how many sampled reviews mention each topic. A topic sits in a column by what reviewers said about that topic; the percentage beside it is how many of them recommended the game anyway.
