Characters sprites and portraits for almost everyone are completely original and (IMHO) neatly detailed, on top of having multiple poses and expressions.
Short version: it's a neat "traditional" JRPG with interesting gameplay mechanics and a distinct presentation that stands above the average RPGMaker title.
I think this is an rpgmaker game but it has a lot of original graphics and they look really good.
