The third and final part of the FF7 Remake trilogy just got a release date at the time of writing this review and this will inevitably shine some spotlight on the original with people wondering whether or not it's worth picking it up before (or after) playing the remakes.
If it doesn't bother you, just plug and play it, controller recommended.
For my playthrough, I used the 7th Heaven mod manager with the Tsunamods collection including SYW Unified, 60FPS Gameplay, Aavock ESUI, FFnX PS1 Music, and the Double Input bug fix.
Run well on modern hardware and steam deck.
