What players think
The recurring themes across 300 analysed reviews: what players praise, what divides them, and what to know.
It keeps the addictive first-person melee combat and co-op gameplay but does little to evolve the formula.
Combat is still very satisfying as before and playing solo was still very doable.
If you enjoy action games, co-op games, zombie games, give it a try if you haven’t already.
The visuals and lighting got an upgrade and all DLC is included, but the story doesn’t reinvent the wheel and the combat can feel repetitive or clunky at times.
It's a bit weaker than the first one in atmosphere, but it still does sound design really well.
