The game constantly forces players to balance growth with security, creating a satisfying sense of progression as small mining stations eventually evolve into heavily fortified industrial strongholds.
The game's menu offers three time passage and speeds and also the ability to have time paused while you are in menus (highly recommended for your first playthrough at least).
