Herald: An Interactive Period Drama - Book I & II

Dialog is followed by cutscenes that are enjoyable and advance the story.

Out of my own preferences I also must really point out the superb voice acting for basically every character and nice sound design(effects+ Soundtrack).

The graphics continued to astound me as I played the game, the portraits of the characters that popped up when in the conversation were incredibly detailed and each portrait shimmers and moves to give a feeling of life to each person in the game, it’s a technique that adds an extra layer of involvement to the gameplay.

Even though I'm still waiting for the whole story to unfold like the rest of you, from what I've seen so far, I'm pretty confident that they will continue to impress me with a quality narrative, believable characters, pleasing art style, intriguing background which would incur some thoughts about more serious issues like racism or imperialism in the rest of the books to come.

The amount of detail in both character design, writing and worldbuilding blew me out of the water.
