The art is beautiful, animations are really high quality, tile descriptions are well-written and make sense, and the gameplay loop is solid.
Because every hero changes the way items and abilities interact, switching characters can make the game feel fresh even after many hours of play.
Turnbound is a creative strategy roguelike that combines inventory management, auto-battling, and deck-building-inspired decision making into a surprisingly addictive package.
-Art style/character design is so cool, and I know this is such a weird "pro" but the fonts in this game are so nice haha!
-Sound design is top tier here.
Grateful that the devs don't try and FOMO me with paywalled content like The Bazaar devs do.
