It reminded me of 90s-era Apogee games like Commander Keen for its art style and simplistic controls.
+ Decent and Varied Level Design -> Majority of levels give you satisfying platforming challenges, with every couple of levels introducing a new part of simple bits of gameplay to spice up things, increase difficulty to reasonable scope and motivate you to explore every nook and cranny for collectibles, power-up or additional lives.
-Great 8bit soundtrack
+ Lots of Additional Challenges for a Perfect Run -> There are 55 levels in a story mode, but in every level you can unlock gold stars by doing certain challenges: no loss of life run, time-limit run, collect all starts run or stop all enemies run.
It has some nice controls and the good thing is that you dont need any input from the other hand, you control the character with the arrow keys, a really nice thing for a change :) Controller also supported.
Managed to reach 60 Fps with extrem overclocking on my r9 290x and my fx 8350 (yeah amd sucks i know) but i think that on a i5 6600 and gtx 980 would be pretty easy to run it at steady 60 fps.
Theme by theme
Every theme is scored by what reviewers actually said about it, not just whether they recommended the game.
No recurring complaints surfaced in this sample.
Ranked by how many sampled reviews mention each topic. A topic sits in a column by what reviewers said about that topic; the percentage beside it is how many of them recommended the game anyway.
