the game provides an interesting gameplay gimmick that allows for a lot of creative charting, but lacks the actual charting to showcase it. 75% of the charts playtime are regular 4k vsrg and only 25% of the actual laser/playfield gimmick is sprinkled in. i'd expect the charts to use the gimmick as often as the arcade games that served as inspiration for neoditronix, which i assume are roughly sdvx and ongeki, so it feels very awkward when there are 45s segment where the game's gimmick is not used at all.
