Very short incremental game, got 100% completion in my playtime, my gauge for a worthwhile game is ~at least 1 hour for $1, which this game misses but given how cheap it is, the alternative would have been making the progression artificially longer, this way it at least flowed nicely.
It's very much worth mentioning the music, incredible vibe, definitely the games strong point without a doubt, I would buy a soundtrack.
I like the graphics, the gameplay was quite good, the upgrades felt alright.
Game also offers an endless mode after you finish the base game but I don't see much of a value in running that given ship upgrades are capped, you'll finish your skill tree and that's it, endless mode is harder than base campaign, but you'll struggle to get past 15 levels anyway on top of the fact that due to the large amount of asteroids and other objects on the screen, my framerate was dropping below 30 in later stages of endless mode.
While this game is very fun in Steam deck handheld mode.
The controls (I play with controller) are spot on.
Theme by theme
Every theme is scored by what reviewers actually said about it, not just whether they recommended the game.
No recurring complaints surfaced in this sample.
Ranked by how many sampled reviews mention each topic. A topic sits in a column by what reviewers said about that topic; the percentage beside it is how many of them recommended the game anyway. 3 more themes were each raised by fewer than 6 sampled reviews and are not shown.
