What players think
The recurring themes across 49 analysed reviews: what players praise, what divides them, and what to know.
Yes it's an rpg maker game, and yes it is a blend of a story, a combat system, and a progression system of sorts, but it I wouldn't want to compare it to other rpgs.
That said, the replayability provided by finding all of the dev diaries, the Plus mode and the Perfection mode extended that to 11 hours for myself.
The minimalist pixel art, while typical of the RPG Maker aesthetic, carries a surprising amount of nuance, using color and lighting to express mood rather than simply decorate the environment.
The story, characters, soundtrack, combat system (memories) are all quite charming and immersive.
Theme by theme
Every theme is scored by what reviewers actually said about it, not just whether they recommended the game.
No recurring complaints surfaced in this sample.
Ranked by how many sampled reviews mention each topic. A topic sits in a column by what reviewers said about that topic; the percentage beside it is how many of them recommended the game anyway.
