What players think
The recurring themes across 300 analysed reviews: what players praise, what divides them, and what to know.
Rather than writing traditional code, players construct programs by arranging simple, visual commands such as grabbing values, placing them in memory slots, performing arithmetic, or jumping to different instructions.
My guess is these people have not attempted the OCDs for each level, which are basically size/speed code optimization.
I'm mostly making this review because I see some reviews that say this game has little replayability.
The art style is endearing, the UI is a fun challenge in of itself, and there are real meaningful programming challenges this game has to offer.
The other place where the friendly interface ultimately gets in the way, is the coding itself.
Humor is on point as always, music is fantastic, artwork and animation is great, and even the voice acting is good.
Theme by theme
Every theme is scored by what reviewers actually said about it, not just whether they recommended the game.
No recurring complaints surfaced in this sample.
Ranked by how many sampled reviews mention each topic. A topic sits in a column by what reviewers said about that topic; the percentage beside it is how many of them recommended the game anyway. 2 more themes were each raised by fewer than 6 sampled reviews and are not shown.
