I came in interested as I was told the story was incredible, and I was genuinely interested in seeing how a traditional turn based rpg adaptation of dark souls mechanics would play out.
And also why is a lot of hentai game have a good gameplay?
the soundtrack is so damn good and each character is interesting and don't get me started on how much i liked the monsters design each is drawn to present a emotion some actually do look scary
Black Souls I is still a pretty good game for 2025, it holds up pretty well even if the game reached it's 8th birthday this year, the game has a unique story for a specific group of people, I would say that Black Souls is like a fine whisky, not everyone may like it, some may find it actually disgusting, especially for all the options the game give you, the game can also be very dark and distrubing at times, fortunately, the steam version of the game does a very good job at censoring most of it, the main story of the game is pretty neat, you play as Grimm, a knight that fights characters out of popular fairy tales like Hansel and Gretel, Red Hood, and so on, I would highly recommend this game to any person who likes dark fantasy games that are based on fairy tales, as this game is exactly that, not only that, but the game can also be very long, which might excit some players that are looking for a game worth their money, even if Black Souls is not a over the top popular game with insane graphics that will blow your computer, it gives you that feel and vibe that REALLY old games used to have, so I have to give it to the developers on that one, the game has a lot of endings you can choose from and a lot of different classes and weapons, similar to dark souls, as you probably caught on, the game is heavily inspired by dark souls, even with the name Black Souls, but overall, I am just happy this game finally came to steam, as I sure hope every fan out there was pleasantly surprised with it's release, as I am writing this right now, Black Souls II is also on "coming soon" on steam, so those are also some amazing news aswell.
Theme by theme
Every theme is scored by what reviewers actually said about it, not just whether they recommended the game.
Ranked by how many sampled reviews mention each topic. A topic sits in a column by what reviewers said about that topic; the percentage beside it is how many of them recommended the game anyway. 3 more themes were each raised by fewer than 6 sampled reviews and are not shown.
