Legacy of Kain: Defiance Remastered

The new textures look nice and extra 3D models for the character also make a nice change.

It is a very good remaster of the epic ending of the pentalogy Legacy of Kain.

I didn’t think the camera would make such a huge difference to the gameplay, but it does.

You can switch to classic camera angles or modern camera behind the player where you choose in which direction the camera looks which is way better for combat actually as this way you always know where your enemies are and won't have a case of an enemy being outside your screen.

Sound works, the dialogue is clear and crisp, sound effects are amplified, though some smaller effects feel miffed and that's alright.

Each character brings a distinct playstyle and perspective, which not only diversifies gameplay but also reinforces the narrative’s central themes of fate, free will, and the consequences of defiance.
