Gameplay is excellent- builds, skills and party combos, along with interactions and loads of things to plan and do in combat.
Started at the end of the year when my now-fiancé was visiting, and we wanted to play something that had split/local co-op.
I like the fairly-tailish graphics too.
In addition to some gameplay improvements, such as full voice acting for all dialogue and a crafting menu that lets you learn recipes and execute them later with a single click, the game’s balance has also been adjusted.
The controls are way better on controller vs mouse/keyboard, saying this as someone who almost always prefers m/kb to controller.
Theme by theme
Every theme is scored by what reviewers actually said about it, not just whether they recommended the game.
Ranked by how many sampled reviews mention each topic. A topic sits in a column by what reviewers said about that topic; the percentage beside it is how many of them recommended the game anyway. One more theme was raised by fewer than 6 sampled reviews and is not shown.
