The Predator also has the largest assortment of weapons, giving you more gameplay options (although some are completely obsolete, like the wristblades).

Aliens versus Predator doesn’t rely on scripted jump scares or elaborate cutscenes—it builds fear through lighting, sound, and pacing.

The Predator’s suite of abilities—thermal vision, cloaking, a shoulder-mounted plasma cannon, and brutal melee weapons—makes you feel powerful, but not invincible.

While Alien and Marine gameplay is fairly balanced, their's no denying that the predator is too overpowered, but the multiplayer is fun, nonetheless.

To be fair, the game intended to showcase atmosphere over plot and really did a fine job in that regard.

Even decades later, the game’s sound design remains remarkable for how effectively it manipulates the player’s imagination.
