What players think
The recurring themes across 300 analysed reviews: what players praise, what divides them, and what to know.
Indeed a podcast is a pretty good description of what you experience here since large percentages of the game involve a nearly empty void, where you can't even tell if pressing the forward button is moving you at all, while you listen to two characters yell at each other.
I’ll give credit where it’s due: the voice acting and humour are solid, but that’s where the positives end.
Scholars will one day debate whether he was a person, an AI, or an ancient deity who manifests only when a truly bug-free FPS is born.
Intuitive controls, realistic mechanics, hyper-realistic graphics, and the voice acting was stellar.
I wanted to like it, but in my honest opinion, it fails to deliver any real sense of progression, purpose, or fun.
Theme by theme
Every theme is scored by what reviewers actually said about it, not just whether they recommended the game.
No themes split opinion in this sample.
Ranked by how many sampled reviews mention each topic. A topic sits in a column by what reviewers said about that topic; the percentage beside it is how many of them recommended the game anyway. 4 more themes were each raised by fewer than 6 sampled reviews and are not shown.
