What players think
The recurring themes across 300 analysed reviews: what players praise, what divides them, and what to know.
With how short the story is I wouldn't pay full price for it and the game can generally be found at a huge discount for 1 or 2$.
I cannot guarantee that these issues did not arise from the fact I played at a higher framerate than the game was likely designed for (144 FPS), but they are still not very fun to experience, and can even soft lock you if you aren't careful.
The gameplay also features certain mechanics to set itself apart from other shooters of its era, namely the Judge meter and arresting mechanic.
The art style and soundtrack of the game are probably its best features - the visuals are striking and very pleasant for the eyes, especially considering the age of the game.

It's short by oldtimey standards (6-8 hours), but not really by modern ones, and features things like unlockables, zombie mode that don't cost money, arcade missions, coop play, splitscreen multiplayer, bot matches, reasons to play well, great voice acting, a no-nonsense plot, razor sharp commentary that never gets old, and is unburdened by censorship, DLC, political agendas, handholding, sprint buttons, cover systems, and most importantly of all, and this cannot be overstated...
Theme by theme
Every theme is scored by what reviewers actually said about it, not just whether they recommended the game.
Ranked by how many sampled reviews mention each topic. A topic sits in a column by what reviewers said about that topic; the percentage beside it is how many of them recommended the game anyway. One more theme was raised by fewer than 6 sampled reviews and is not shown.
