very fun little tower defense roguelike. better than most in my opinion. i only used the default middle difficulty and felt a fair bit of challenge on 2 of the 4 starting characters. the Researcher (damage over time) was difficult to get the hang of without more meta-progression, and the Pathfinder (tactical, heavy use of railguns) was by far the easiest and most fun. i could have made the game easier and harder respectively but the disparity was fun regardless.

Beyond that, the pixel art style is nice, the game is (as I said) challenging enough (though more enemy types or even variants for various maps would be nice to see), and it's satisfying as a tower defense game, but it's not currently in a state that will make you drop a ton of time into it.
Love the art style and sound design.
