What players think
The recurring themes across 300 analysed reviews: what players praise, what divides them, and what to know.
Which wouldn't be bad if the story actually managed to be good.
The command line gameplay was fun and all 2 of the puzzles were interesting.
I love the little bits of misdirection scattered throughout the game, the writing felt natural and intriguing, and I really liked the sights and sounds (really excellent sound design), but my experience with real terminal interfaces had me frustrated at the game's interface not allowing things like "cd ..
Overall, could use some debugging, maybe cleaner graphics, but it was worth my money and very entertaining!
Theme by theme
Every theme is scored by what reviewers actually said about it, not just whether they recommended the game.
Ranked by how many sampled reviews mention each topic. A topic sits in a column by what reviewers said about that topic; the percentage beside it is how many of them recommended the game anyway. 3 more themes were each raised by fewer than 6 sampled reviews and are not shown.
