Of course, "open field" still means that everything is a bit more generic and replayability takes a huge hit compared to mission based linear levels but traditional style linear levels are also in the game in the form of the Crucibles and submissions, and these can be replayed several times and scale to the level in NG+.
Soundtrack is excellent and is as good as the previous two games.
On one hand, it's nice to play co-op in expedition and just roll over everything while everyone can loot stuff, on the other hand you HAVE to be around to get loot and you can't scatter around to the far corners trying to be efficient and clearing it all to save time.
