Theres no progression, or upgrades, or anything to make you better or make it easier. you can choose between a few different special weapons and abilities from the start.
Similarly, while I understand that Pixel Star is emulating the simple vector-style graphics of games like Asteroids, I still wish there was a greater variety in appearance of enemies.
Menu is thumbs up, it have mouse support, couple basic options and you can rebind keys, sound very basic but lots of simple games and even AAA console ports doesn't have that.
