What players think
The recurring themes across 184 analysed reviews: what players praise, what divides them, and what to know.
The story and setting is engaging, weird sci-fi, 70-80's french comics, but tries a bit hard to come off as mysterious, the poetical lore-bits fall kind of flat.
I think you should experiment and try out the different options, not only do they change the way you play, they also alter the visuals in the game.
There are background stories on Jib and your companions as the story develops, with rather quick gameplay and a relatively short game with lots of replayability, I will let you discover the rest of the story for yourself.
The music is mostly good, but however I love strange electronic beats, these get jarring after a while, doesn't work well as background music, and blends poorly with the other sound effects, constant bleeping and buzzing.
The controls are simple and controller is supported.
Enemies and bosses scale well, gameplay is balanced, and on-the-fly customization of weapons and abilities is easy through the simple and intuitive menu system.
Theme by theme
Every theme is scored by what reviewers actually said about it, not just whether they recommended the game.
Ranked by how many sampled reviews mention each topic. A topic sits in a column by what reviewers said about that topic; the percentage beside it is how many of them recommended the game anyway.
