I really liked the idea of this and enjoyed the bits I got of characters and the aliens’ personalities and backstories.

If I were trying to summarize the game, in one sentence it would be "The game is FTL with a more Lost in Space theme, better graphics and music, less focus on combat, and more focus on interacting with alien factions and resource management." Pros

The controls are possibly the best starting point to describe some of the problems I was having as I found this almost unplayable with mouse and keyboard, so gamepad is the only way to go for me.
