While the game provides a sense of accomplishment for those who invest time and effort, it could benefit from better onboarding and more accessible tutorials to ease players into its intricate gameplay.
The steep learning curve everyone talks about is just an unfamiliar set of recipes that are supposed to force players to socialize and buy resources from each other (e.g. you need metal or specialised tool to make virtually anything, even if it doesn't need those in real life) as well as to prevent so called grievers from creating tons of disposable characters just to spoil someone's fun.
