What players think
The recurring themes across 292 analysed reviews: what players praise, what divides them, and what to know.
-Completely changed the loot system from a dynamic system with open-ended possibilities and actual game knowledge playing a part to a system where they guarantee a 95%+ return like a slot machine, and you can definitely feel it in the mindless gameplay.
Most people have a story, most people will know other peoples story, and toxic, craszy uncles, kind naans or not, it feels a lot like a nice home, it is home. after all these years I still feel more at home in EU, than i do in any other game.
They might get some tourists to come by and check out the pretty graphics, but EU will never grow with how anti-fun it is.
Sit in a line at the pvp zone oil refinery and get between around 2-3 PED worth of crude oil per hour that also may be piss nothing per hour if it goes from being a orderly line to a FFA if certain pvp people show up, also if they don't like you, they simply won't let you have oil and will nuke you in an instant, so you have to be friendly and respectful, which at least is not a bad thing, it makes sense, be friendly and respectful, and you will receive the same, but like.. the disruptions in hourly rate has the potential to be a bit.. demoralizing.. to say the least.. needless to say, at any moment of just sitting there for oil, the consistency and ability to secure your turn for oil or just obtaining it at all in a FFA can go to ♥♥♥♥ at any moment.
Theme by theme
Every theme is scored by what reviewers actually said about it, not just whether they recommended the game.
Ranked by how many sampled reviews mention each topic. A topic sits in a column by what reviewers said about that topic; the percentage beside it is how many of them recommended the game anyway. 3 more themes were each raised by fewer than 6 sampled reviews and are not shown.
