What players think
The recurring themes across 238 analysed reviews: what players praise, what divides them, and what to know.
With features like detailed maneuvering, energy management to boost certain sub-systems of your ship, special abilities and multiple aproaches to every mission, as well as the story in general, lots of variety and replayability is given.
It sees you deciding who the first few people on your ship will be with one of the first destination choices in the game, opening several paths of replayability with their own pieces of world building and stories to uncover.
This has the potential to give the player multiple options on how to develop their Sierra and the actual combat feels fun to me.
All of this is paired with nice visuals that feature detailed artwork, cutscenes, lots of effects and scene movement, and a wide variety of sound effects.
Depending on the difficulty, it does get pretty intense as you must do quick thinking and power management of Sierra if you want to make it out alive.
And the soundtrack... it is absolutely stunning, each theme perfectly complements the situation displayed and only improves the events in a very positive manner.
