fMother Russia Bleeds is a pretty fun game for those a fan of a Russian gore-tastic side scroller with a blood bonanza around every corner. the music in this game absolutely 10/10 slaps hard, adding another layer of enjoyment to the game along side the rampage. the gameplay itself is enjoyable, perhaps not so smooth with its combos once you see yourself repeating the same move over and over again, besides that the weapons and environment can be fun to use and look at , but the catch is you kinda have to get used to its controller setup. now if you are playing with a controller, this should not be to much of a problem, but if your one of the unlucky bastrards like me with only a keyboard, its gonna be a rough time, because if your used to your wasd to walk and left and right mouse click to attack, things are only actually gonna be a little more difficult (sorry for over-exaggerating) the layout scheme is wasd for movement and uhjk for attacks, i cant remember what they all do exactly but thats the pattern you have to deal with because theres no change button layout on the game setting. anyway that was overly long and pointless, the only thing i can talk about now is the games story (dont worry no spoilers ahead). the story has a great thought in mind but it never really feels like much is happening, im never sure if my character is doing his mission on purpose or if hes just kinda stumbling into things and saying "well, better kill everything i see" and then he just ends up saving the day by meeting with someone important and beats the answers out of them. the story in the background of this small posy of the world of mother russia has a really nice concept in my opinion but ill let you see it for yourself.

Just playing through this game once is worth the price of admission, even on easy with friends (co-op is great too, up to 4 players local & remote play together).
