What it maintains from Resist (besides a rather blatantly copy/pasted mini-game) is a clear focus on smooth, enjoyable movement and traversal mechanics which I would say are Binary Mill's forte as a studio currently.

Story is decent Sci-Fi fair, Got about 16 hours out of a Co-Op campaign with a buddy on Insane difficulty.

It has an unreal tournament kind of feel to the gunplay and movement that makes you feel like you are Boba Fett, slinging plasma while flying around with your jetpack.

I didn't love the art style initially but somehow Binary Mill took this simple style and made it beautiful which seems to be something they're good at.

It's incredibly addictive, has smooth gameplay, has great mechanics, has integrated gameplay where you decide on each mission if you want to do it solo or multiplayer.
