from the 4.3 hours that i played the game (and finished the early access) it is a explosion of mechanics that you gotta learn, and i loved it, it took more than i expected to learn how to catch a fish because you gotta read the manual, understand it and practice it.

In terms of difficulty, I found it to be a decent challenge to FC&S rank all the presently available fish (though I'm far from a hardcore rhythm gamer, so your mileage may vary in that respect).
