In level 1-5(and in each 5th level onward) we're introduced to the concept of mini games, which help keep gameplay varied, and shows the potential of PvZ formula, and in level 1-10 we are introduced to conveyor level, which in retrospect are probably weakest part of PvZ, but I think they work in adventure mode to encourage players to try out different plants.
