The game is very dialogue rich, and just in the first hour or so I feel like I have learned a lot about the game's universe and lore.

I don't know if I can recommend this Steam version exactly (maybe if you want the game EXACTLY as it was on PC back in the day), but the game in general is a must-play for anyone who loves space exploration, 90s games, and/or watching old episodes of Star Trek.

The combat system is interesting and difficult to master, and it's INCREDIBLY satisfying to have a dreadnought that can just blast anything out of the sky whenever you please.
