What players think
The recurring themes across 300 analysed reviews: what players praise, what divides them, and what to know.
The gameplay is pretty smooth and fun considering it's a solo developed indie game.
After finishing Blossom: The Seed of Life, the game’s true identity becomes clear: it’s not an adventure, not a puzzle game, not even a narrative experience.
The visuals are nice, though some jank occurs with the rendering of trees and the animation of animals.
Controls I think are fine, I played it with keyboard and a mouse, I even played it on the steam deck for a bit and it worked well.
It’s a whispered one — the kind that stays with you long after you’ve put the controller down.
I haven't had any crashes or freezes so far, so that's a good sign for optimization!
Theme by theme
Every theme is scored by what reviewers actually said about it, not just whether they recommended the game.
Ranked by how many sampled reviews mention each topic. A topic sits in a column by what reviewers said about that topic; the percentage beside it is how many of them recommended the game anyway. One more theme was raised by fewer than 6 sampled reviews and is not shown.
