What players think
The recurring themes across 300 analysed reviews: what players praise, what divides them, and what to know.
The progression and the management is quite intricate as it needs delicate balancing of various different parts of your nation, and maintaining balance between authority and happiness of your citizens is really important, even if one of the parts fail, the entire nation would be affected by it.
It’s an art style sure to be appealing to everyone.
Both in singleplayer and multiplayer, Oriental Empires gives you the option to either develop a Chinese clan/kingdom in the Grand Campaign (spanning over 3000 years, from the Early Bronze Age to Imperial China), The Warring States (475 BC – 221 BC) or Custom Game, which provides players with some very creative maps that enhance MP matches and potential alliances.
Though it’s lacking in voice acting, Oriental Empires compensates by offering a most relaxing soundtrack which is comprised of instrumentals.
Theme by theme
Every theme is scored by what reviewers actually said about it, not just whether they recommended the game.
Ranked by how many sampled reviews mention each topic. A topic sits in a column by what reviewers said about that topic; the percentage beside it is how many of them recommended the game anyway. One more theme was raised by fewer than 6 sampled reviews and is not shown.
