- The "Zen" Disconnect: The core gameplay loop doesn’t quite hit the meditative state it aims for.
Considering the main attraction of the game is the satisfying leaf-blowing experience, with environment/atmosphere being secondary, if there was an option in the graphics settings to disable the background trees (or paint them over with a simpler texture rather than simulating each leaf) it would greatly help us plebeians with lower-end machines. :D
The act of blowing leaves into neat piles and disposing of them is inherently tactile and surprisingly soothing, thanks to responsive controls, believable physics, and well-tuned sound effects.
While I achieved a solid 120 FPS on Ultra settings at 1440p native using an RTX 4080 Super and Ryzen 9 5950X, I occasionally experienced minor frame drops when viewing densely stacked foliage (500+ leaves in a single area) or when encountering widespread, scattered leaf clusters.
