He's already put out a road-map that looks promising including QoL improvements (like rat customization, new biomes and hunters, etc.), but here are some more things that I hope will be considered in the future:

I really love the game, and I'm sure, in the future, having multiplayer, cloud saves, cards and achievements will make the community grow even bigger !

But I can't stop thinking that this would have been even better as a co-op game, adding some "Lethal Company" features to keep the addiction going.

I found the difficulty to be just enough for me to beat the game yet offered plenty of tense moments when the hunters almost got to me despite my best efforts.
