What players think
The recurring themes across 300 analysed reviews: what players praise, what divides them, and what to know.
Developed by OpenFront Inc and Evan Pellegrini and published by OpenFront Inc, it keeps its core mechanics approachable while allowing the unpredictable behavior of human opponents to provide much of its strategic complexity.
What distinguishes it from many territorial strategy games is its emphasis on massive multiplayer matches, where hundreds of participants can influence the same battlefield.
It's a great time killer with actually strategy involved that's neither too slow (like kiomet) or too fast, it has endless replayability and has a skill ceiling so there's that "competitive" pull to it as well as the fact that you can just sit for 15 minutes and paint the map with your colors.
This is a great game and is a lot of fun with friends and on your own, its quite competitive and skilful and can be extremely funny.
