Though I do find it dull when you start rushing the speed up button to get your survivors finish scavenging, it does get fun when you add some narrative in there by doing some role playing.

So what I liked was the music, the graphics (I am a sucker for pixel art), the family creation, the personalized difficulty adjustment, the base building, and upgrading, and the general atmosphere.
