What players think
The recurring themes across 255 analysed reviews: what players praise, what divides them, and what to know.
The moment to moment gameplay is solid and, as advertised, making insane, broken builds is incredibly fun.
If you enjoy Across the Obelisk, you'll recognize the formula right away, and the core combat loop is enjoyable.
Bonus - the coop works smoothly and properly with zero issues in our first three runs
The meta progression is also really well done; you start off with few options, but as you become more familiar with a given character, you unlock more and more ways to customize them for the next run, as well as enough power bump to keep it feeling like you're getting stronger.
I’ve currently played exclusively multiplayer and other than a couple crashes (due to one player using an old computer) and having it kick everyone it’s been pretty seamless.
Foresaken 3 difficulty is brutal, but I liked it too, beat it, and skill kept playing after.
