-Interesting subject matter and background story
The game offers some nice graphics, although some ugly glitches here and there, it is pleasant all the same
in all seriousness though, i do really like neo aquarium. despite the price (definitely buy on sale), janky controls, and little gameplay, it's genuinely a fun game. the soundtrack is surprisingly good, though i haven't bought it or anything. additionally, my laptop is not suitable for gaming. it's probably able to fry an egg when i run stardew valley. despite this, though, the game runs fine on my laptop. it occasionally crashes during the squilla fight when it uses its level 3 ability, but that's when there's already a lot of particles. i'll give it the benefit of the doubt and blame my laptop for this.
With a controller it's reasonably fun, and despite making very little sense the attacks quickly become intuitive.
